IN COLLABORATION WITH MUNCIPALITY OF VILLA SANTINA

INTERVENTION OF RESTORATION of one of the many fortifications to Invillino , that belong to the fortified system of Alpine wall of Littorio .

The intervention is divided into two distinct parts : protection of preservation and development value

Protect the visitors with:
- shutting of front entrance and back entrance with reinforced metal doors;
- installation of handrail along the narrow and deep stairs for making easier the walk;
- installation of artificial lighting and safety lamps with autonomous accumulator


Development value:
The installation of artificial lighting makes visible and secure the inside of the fortification and the visitors can inspect the details . The replacing of winding stairs makes accessible to arrive at all levels of the fortification. Installation of signboards to give information to the visitors.

YEAR 2007

• guided tours with the people of Villa Santina , after the comment to explain the    fortification
• visits of students in connection with the centre of holiday of Invillino
• conference of the fortifications of the Alpine wall and the military building NATO with     notebook and video tape-recorder at the association of engineers to Udine
• conference of the fortifications of the Alpine wall and the military building of NATO with     notebook and video tape recorder to municipal district of Doberdň del Lago
• conference of fortifications at officer circle to Udine
• guided tours with the group of ANA of Carpacco (Dignano)

IN COLLABORATION WITH MUNCIPALITY OF CAVAZZO

Developing a collaboration with the municipal administration of Cavazzo to increase the value of the following objects:
-  the fortifications of the municipal district of Cavazzo
-  the fortification of Montefesta had been carried out by Chief of Staff general Pollio in the     year 1910, it had been relegated to a function of second line by the Italian offensive to     Valley of Isonzo , but it had acted a major role in the occasion of the rout of Caporetto,     they got to restrain the enemy for almost a week , that was heroic.

IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ASSOCIATION "MESSINA FORTIFICATA"

Cultural exchange with the association “Messina fortificata” , treat a praiseworthy action of spreading over the strategic importance of Messina in the Second World War.
